Exorcist Falls & Exorcist Road | Jonathan Janz | Pages: 458 | Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Exorcist Falls begins with the novella Exorcist Road. The stories revolve around a serial killer dubbed the Sweet Sixteen Killer, a priest who's faith is failing, and a sixteen-year-old boy who is showing signs of demonic possession.

Jonathan Janz leaves absolutely no stone unturned when it comes to the details in this book. The character development of Father Jason Crowder was excellent. I feel this book has surpassed the grand-daddy of all exorcist books, The Exorcist in so many ways. It twisted and turned in so many exciting ways, kept my heart racing, and made me sleep with my lights on for about a week. Which in my mind, is the perfect recipe for an exorcism book! I am not a big fan of gore, but can certainly handle it. This book does contain gore, but in my mind just a perfect amount of it when it was necessary. I proclaim this will be my FAVORITE read of 2019.
