Food Fright | Nico Bell | Pages: 90 | Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

"Death never smelled so good."

Food Fright by Nico Bell is a fun, fast-paced creature-feature/ghost story that had me giggling with excitement with each new possessed food creature that was animated throughout the pages.

It feels like a Buffy the Vampire Slayer story since there is high school teen drama, bullying, and teen self-discovery with a sinister twist, which was super enjoyable for me. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good YA ghost story that involves all of that feel-good teen math test by day, butt-kicker by night sort of thing!
